This letter is long overdue. We have been using the LRB for over four years. During that time we have seen over 4,000 people saved. The majority has been saved after an explanation of the Gospel using the LRB, and the LRB (Spanish). The use of your materials has helped us break through the language, age, racial, mentally handicapped, hearing-impaired barriers with the wonderfully-pictured presentation of the gospel. I personally use the larger edition with the gospel of John. Usually during or after the gospel presentation with the LRB people eagerly ask how they can get a copy of "that book." We are so pleased to be able to have such an attractive and persuasive resource to present the Gospel.

I have many stories I could relate to you (over 4.000) but I will give you just a few. I'm reminded of several people who got saved in spite of the fact they couldn't read. Because of the compelling pictures they were able to receive Christ as Saviour.

We have seen people saved from age 5 to over 80 years of age. The LRB is versatile enough for all age groups to comprehend the simplicity of the Gospel.

Over the past four years we have seen drug users, prostitutes, sodomites, alcoholics, murderers, and every kind of sinner put their trust in the Lord.

People from all over the world have understood the plan of salvation and have been born again. We have seen people whose country of national origin is Spain, Portugal, Haiti, Nigeria, Laos, China, Holland, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Liberia, Honduras, Trinidad, England, Barbados - and dozens more - get saved.

The LRB has helped Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses, Catholics, Jews, Hindus, Moslems, Pentecostals, Baptists, and nominal Christians see their need for salvation and accept Christ's payment as their hope for eternity.

We have seen people from all walks of life get saved, including an NBA basketball player. This past November we saw a city beauty queen receive eternal life. Ten days later she died in a car accident. She never got a chance to come to our church but her family's church allowed me to give a testimony of her salvation and to preach the gospel to about 400-500 people through a Spanish interpreter. Many were saved that day and in the months following.

Perhaps the most memorable story to me was the salvation of my 70-year-old uncle. Though he had much exposure to the Gospel he never got saved until he read the LRB. It was during this time, as he had brain cancer, that he prayed and called upon the name of the Lord. His last week on earth was remarkable. While in bed and unable to speak as people came to see him at his deathbed, he made them read the LRB. This was an amazing sight. I preached his funeral to many people. Each person was given a LRB, and I preached through the LRB as I know my uncle would want me to. That day we saw at least four people receive Christ as their personal Saviour.

I would like to personally thank you for the LRB, and I know 4,000 and counting souls will someday express their eternal gratitude. Thank you for the production and prayers that have gone into the LRB.

If possible I would like permission to enlarge the LRB and laminate it so we can preach the Gospel to larger groups of people at one time.

I hope this letter is of some encouragement to you. We work hard at soul winning and the LRB makes our work easier and more enjoyable.
